Personalized Learning Support

Looking for personalized tutoring for your child?

Tutoring in Math and Literacy

We connect with your child to establish meaningful relationships that will help us build their confidence and background knowledge in all academic areas. We offer individual and small group tutoring and enrichment sessions that are designed using personalized agendas to either support or extend your child’s learning. All sessions are taught by certified teachers and integrate a hands-on, multi-sensory approach to learning. We take the time to assess, get to know and understand our students as learners in order to help them reach their highest potential. Our center is open Monday - Thursday for tutoring sessions.

  • Tutoring Schedule: Monday through Thursday.

    • Tutoring sessions can be individual or group based on enrollment requests.

Enrichment Classes

We provide morning classes and after-school sessions.

Enrichment classes: Small class size, engaging topics, social interaction with peers, taught by certified teachers.

  • Classes Meet Monday - Thursday. Each class meets one time per week and runs for six weeks.

CURRENT OFFERINGS

STEM & Storytime

Story time and STEM is designed to help children: foster new friendships, develop the capacity to solve problems and engage in hands-on activities that strengthen critical thinking skills.  (Sessions include story time, group or individual building projects using playdough, legos, or maker space materials.). Ages 5&6.

STEM

Our philosophy of providing an inquiry based learning environment where children learn and play through the lens of engineering has set us apart. We offer STEM classes for children ages 5 - 12. Our classes are designed to engage students in hands-on learning and play-based exploration while solving design challenges using the steps of the engineering design process. We find that our unique approach to learning and supporting child development creates a positive learning environment where children want to come back again and again. Classes are designed for children in grades K-5.

Spanish Interactive Story Time

Spanish modules are always interactive and fun! Through repetition with games, activities, storytime, and crafts, children are introduced to new vocabulary each week. Memory games, flashcards, song games, the mystery box, and charades are just some of the activities our students enjoy every week. Taught by a native Spanish speaker.

Drop in Playdates / Makerspace Exploration

  • Every Wednesday. All elementary ages.

  • Children must be registered. Space is limited.

Winter Session After-School Enrichment Classes

  • Bring your child or bring a group and we will design a module based on age and academic level. Enrichment classes are offered in the Engineering Design Process, Mathematics, Writing, or Book Club themes.

*At least 3 students must be enrolled for enrichment classes.
